DOPE RACE is a family-run operation. We're an authorized ROTA Wheels dealer, importing direct from PAWI in the Philippines and unloading the containers ourselves at our warehouse in Hayward, California.

I'm Edward. I run the day-to-day.

By day I'm a Computer Science PhD student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. The rest of the time, I'm here - answering fitment texts, running the social media, packing orders, unloading shipments, rebuilding this website from the ground up.

ROTA’s presence in the U.S. had been fading for a while, and I wanted to help change that. We opened DOPE RACE as a new authorized dealer focused on doing things properly - real inventory, real fitment support, and direct imports from the Philippines.

I started shooting the product photos myself - photography's a hobby of mine. Unboxing the wheels one at a time and seeing each set under good light is when I got hooked. The MXR caught me right away. I told myself: when I get a car, that's the wheel.

Then I got the car. And I put a set of MXRs on it.

And every time I walk up to it in a parking lot, it still hits - that small jolt of pride when a build actually looks how you imagined it.

That's what I want every DOPE RACE customer to feel.

  • Fitment questions answered by people who actually run these wheels - not a chatbot, not an outsourced rep.
  • Local pickup at our Hayward warehouse. Bay Area buyers can see the wheels in person and take them home the same day.
  • Coast-to-coast and international shipping for everyone else.

We're a small team. We’ll answer the phone, but texting us is the quickest way to reach us. We care that the wheels look right when they go on your car.
